π± Essential Security Settings
1οΈβ£ Set a Strong Passcode
- Go to Settings β Face ID & Passcode
- Set a 6-digit PIN or alphanumeric passcode for added security.
2οΈβ£ Enable Biometric Authentication
- In Face ID & Passcode, set up Face ID or Touch ID for convenient and secure access.
3οΈβ£ Turn On Automatic Software Updates
- Go to Settings β General β Software Update
- Enable Automatic Updates to stay protected from new vulnerabilities.
4οΈβ£ Activate Find My iPhone
- Go to Settings β [Your Name] β Find My
- Turn on Find My iPhone to track or lock your device if it's lost.
5οΈβ£ Enable Data Protection (Encryption)
- Automatically enabled when a passcode is set.
6οΈβ£ Limit Lock Screen Access
- In Face ID & Passcode, disable access to Siri, Wallet, and Control Center on the lock screen.
